BOSTON (WHDH) – Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Boston Thursday to meet with state lawmakers to discuss the fight to protect reproductive rights.
July 29, Massachusetts passed new legislation that creates protections for reproductive health providers following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Harris has spent the last several weeks traveling the country to meet lawmakers in other states.
The visit marks Harris’s first trip to the state since becoming the Vice President.
Following her Boston visit Harris will be traveling to Martha’s Vineyard for another event.
