It’s been one too many cruel summers since Taylor Swift last went on tour. Five years (!) to be exact. Long story short, it was a bad time.

Thankfully that era has come to an end with her, well, “Eras” tour set to launch March 17 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona (fun fact: She launched her Reputation Tour in 2018 at the same venue when it was known as University of Phoenix Stadium). She’ll travel all over the country, from Phoenix to Philadelphia to Los Angeles.

But what exactly will the superstar sing? With 10 studio albums and several rerecordings, there are almost too many songs to choose from.

But if we had it our way – and we do, because an editor approved this piece – here’s what she’d sing and in what order.

It's been one too many cruel summers since Taylor Swift last went on a stadium tour. Wait no longer.

‘Lavender Haze’ (‘Midnights’)

‘Cruel Summer’ (‘Lover’)

‘Sparks Fly’ (‘Speak Now’)

‘Delicate’ (‘Reputation’)

‘You Belong With Me’ (‘Fearless’)

The “Eras” tour must begin with her current era, so “Midnights” debut track “Lavender Haze” makes the most sense. Can’t you see her strutting out of a luscious, lavender haze whispering “meet me at midnight?” She should quickly pivot to “Cruel Summer,” which (rudely) never became a single and never made it on Swift’s now-defunct “Loverfest” tour due to the pandemic. An ever-changing chameleon, “Sparks Fly” will follow with the crowd belting “drop everything now” at the top of their lungs. She’ll slow things down with Reputation‘s “Delicate,” then get the crowd screaming again with “You Belong With Me.” Is it cool that we said all that?

‘Cornelia Street’ (‘Lover’)

‘Bejeweled’ (‘Midnights’)

‘Champagne Problems’ (‘Evermore’)

‘I Did Something Bad’ (‘Reputation’)

‘Love Story’ (‘Fearless’)

Even Grammy-winning pop stars need breaks between sets. When we return to the land of Swift, she’ll bring out the guitar and deliver a heart-wrenching acoustic version of “Cornelia Street,” then quickly toss it offstage to make the whole place shimmer with “Bejeweled.” Cue a costume change into a ballgown and a set change to a staircase for Evermore‘s “Champagne Problems” that’ll have you screaming “she would’ve made such a lovely bride.” That melancholy morphs into an energetic “I Did Something Bad” followed by an optimistic “Love Story.” Baby, we are saying yes to all these eras at once.

‘Out of the Woods’ (‘1989’)

‘You’re On Your Own, Kid’ (‘Midnights’)

‘State of Grace’ (‘Red’)

‘August’ (‘Folklore’)

‘Our Song’ (‘Taylor Swift’)

Somehow, “1989” hasn’t made an appearance on this setlist yet, but she changes that with a welcome “Out of the Woods” (and a guest appearance by Jack Antonoff, no less). She continues the “Midnights” train with sleeper hit “You’re On Your Own, Kid” followed by “Red” leader “State of Grace.” We slip away like a moment in time with “August,” and just before you’re about to take a nap, the opening notes of “Our Song” take you back to the mid-aughts. It’s late and your mama don’t know!

Taylor Swift worked with frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff on her 10th studio album, "Midnights."

‘Wildest Dreams’ (‘1989’)

‘Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince’ (‘Lover’)

‘Blank Space’ (‘1989’)

‘All Too Well – 10 Minute Version’ (‘Red – Taylor’s Version’)

‘Anti-Hero’ (‘Midnights’)

Time to get wistful as the night winds down. “Wildest Dreams” blends perfectly into the “Lover” track “Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince” that also never got the single treatment (in case we haven’t mentioned, justice for “Lover”). If you haven’t already lost your voice by this point, you will by the end of “Blank Space.” Boys only want love if it’s torture, and Swift definitely didn’t warn you before launching into the 10-minute “All Too Well.” But the concert can’t end on such a sour note. Put an “X” next to “Anti-Hero” on your setlist bingo card – no problems in sight tonight, no matter what Swift sings.

Encore: ‘Mirrorball’ (‘Folklore’)

‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ (‘Red’)

‘Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve’ (‘Midnights – 3 a.m. Edition)

And you thought the night was over?! A few more Swiftie surprises: She’ll show you every version of yourself with “Mirrorball” as dozens of disco balls float above the stage. You’ll completely lose your voice for real with “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” then scream-whisper-cry to the “Midnights 3 a.m. Edition” track “Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve.” God rest our soul – we’re always in our Swift era.
