Rocketrip parent company Mondee is introducing a new global affiliate programme for agencies and other travel professionals to increase sales.
US-based technology firm Mondee, which acquired Rocketrip in 2020 and also owns SME travel platform TripPlanet, said the new affiliate programme is designed to make it easier and cheaper for agencies to sell more travel content.
Mondee Affiliate Network will offer affiliates “enhanced revenue opportunities and tools designed to increase profitability, expand their product line-up and stay competitive in the ever-evolving market”.
Prasad Gundumogula, chairman, CEO and founder of Mondee, said the network would be a “cost-effective solution” to help agencies and other travel sellers to recover from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The programme creates an exclusive relationship between Mondee and its customers, accelerates Mondee’s market share penetration immediately into the air and hotel industries and positions the company as a leading provider of complete travel content and experiences to travel agents and affiliate groups globally,” added Gundumogula.
Mondee, which was founded in 2011, is based in Texas and has 17 offices in North America, as well as operations in India, Thailand and Greece. The company went public on the NASDAQ stock market index in July 2022.
