PRATEIK ON IF OPINIONS ONLINE AFFECT HIM
As an actor in the current social media day and age, it is very easy for everyone to give opinions and have those opinion accessible as well. Ask Prateik if it every affects him or his work, and he feels that while he enjoys it at times, it kind of brings one down because it is very superficial.
He tells Zoom TV Digital, “I do feel social media is a little bit of a trap personally. I do enjoy it but sometimes it does kind of bring you down because it is very superficial at a surface level. Unless if you are somebody like a Virat Kohli who has 250M followers and with every post you are making a lot of money then it’s a different story. Social Media is a great place to showcase your work and also a medium that can really distract you from who you really are and what you believe in. It has its own set of advantages and disadvantages and is a trap which you can definitely not escape.”
