Last minute trip planners, rejoice! There’s a city in Texas that was just ranked one of the best places for an affordable vacation this season.
Although Thanksgiving is right around the corner, there’s still time left to save money on a holiday trip.
Travel + Leisure used data from vacation rental website HomeToGo to find inexpensive travel destinations available for a stay this November.
“Instead of having a family feast in their homes, many are opting to celebrate in the comforts of a getaway in a vacation rental,” travel expert Caroline Burns said to the travel website.
According to T+L, vacationers can still rent homes in Corpus Christi over Thanksgiving for 40% lower than the average nightly price for rentals over the holidays.
Nightly rates with a check-in date between Nov. 20 and Nov. 27 show prices under $250, T+L reported.
Other affordable destinations with availability in late November include Killington, Vermont; Carolina Beach, North Carolina; Tallahassee, Florida; and Greenville, South Carolina, the website said.
