Due to quite a few requests I have revisited the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter as it is a very handy gadget to have with you especially if you are a road warrior who lives from hotel to hotel.
This little gadget provides you with the capability to connect form your Windows based laptop, desktop, tablet or smartphone to a large screen TV without the need for any wires.
Being able to have a second screen for increased productivity is one thing, but to also have the capability to stream sound directly through the Tc without the need for any wires makes the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter the ultimate travel accessory.
Version 2 of the adapter, which is shown in this video tutorial, has some improvements over its predecessor. First of all there is now minimal lag between keystrokes on your device and what is seen on the second screen. This comes in handy especially when playing video games.
The second cool feature in the new and improved Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter is the fact that it has a smaller form factor. Many flat screen televisions are usually wall mounted which leaves a small space to connect your display adapter to a USB port fr power and an HDMI port for the video and sound signals.
