LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Our First Alert Weather Day continues this morning with the possibility of slippery spots on untreated roadways during the morning commute. The temperature this morning is hovering near freezing. Bridges and overpasses are the most likely place to find icy patches. Temperatures climb to the mid 30s by lunch time. High temperatures today will be in the upper 30s. Widely scattered snow showers are expected through the day. More snow showers will be scattered across the area tonight with lows in the mid 20s.
First Alert: A strong cold front crashes through the area tomorrow around lunch time. On and off snow showers are expected through the day Thursday into Thursday night. Several inches of snow will be possible Thursday. High temperatures Thursday will be in the mid 30s and it will happen around lunch time. Once the cold front clears the area temperatures will tumble. With cold air rushing across Lake Michigan on and off snow showers are expected Thursday night through Saturday. High temperatures Friday through the weekend will be in the 20s with overnight lows in the teens.
Temperatures are expected to moderate next week. High temperatures climb above freezing Monday and Tuesday. We should have high temperatures in the 40s for Thanksgiving Day.
