The Alaska String Band will again be traveling through the area singing at local churches and other venues.
The band is a unique family group presenting a lively program of various styles which showcases their talents.
The Zahasky family will be in concert Friday evening, Oct. 22, at The Farm, a Christian retreat center at 7 p.m. The Farm is located seven miles west of Scotland at 29125 416th Ave., or about 11 miles north of Tyndall. 416th Avenue is the road going straight north out of Tyndall, also known as The Bohemian Highway.
This will be a musical event only, no meal or lunch will be served. The family will perform in the barn at The Farm. The facility is heated.
The barn seats about 100 people comfortably, so attendees are encouraged to come early and bring a chair if they wish, otherwise folding chairs are provided.
A freewill offering will be taken, with proceeds going to the band for their travel expenses.
