1. Comfort Over Chaos
Make your travel environment comfy and relaxing as best you can. Wear your PJs or comfy clothing. Have a chill set up with iPad or music and make sure you take control of the space you have.
2. Supplements
Taking supplements to help in situations really is a saving grace for me . So when I am flying I take melatonin for sleeping the night I arrive to help me get a good sleep and feel refreshed and also Brillia to help lower my anxiety and s levels, as travelling really does impact my ability to stay focused and stress free.
3. Plan Ahead
Plan plan and I’ll say it again PLAN! Planning ahead is the best way to make sure you are as relaxed as possible when travelling anywhere as an autistic person.
